Alan Broome AM – Chairman and Non-Executive Director

Alan Broome AM brings over 40 years of expertise in mining and metals to Cuprum. A metallurgist, he led ACIRL and Ampcontrol, driving innovation in Australia’s mining sector. As Chairman of ASX-listed New Age Exploration and Critical Minerals Group, and former Austmine Chairman for 23 years, he’s a trusted industry figure. His global experience includes leadership in the Codelco-Rio Tinto JV and Foseco Group PLC. Awarded the Order of Australia (AM) in 2000, Broome’s strategic insight ensures Cuprum’s LCCM delivers rapid production and strong growth for investors.

Matt Salthouse – Executive Director

Matthew has extensive experience in both c-suite and start-up executive roles in the natural resources sector, with a focus on precious metals and commodity projects in the Asia-Pacific region.  He is accomplished in corporate strategy, deal origination and execution, overseeing mining projects and operations, capital markets and financing (debt and equity), investor relations and external affairs, governance, legal and commercial negotiation. Amongst other positions, Matthew was founder and Managing Director of South Pacific Metals Corp, Executive Director, Indonesian Operations for REA Holdings plc, President - Corporate Strategy for Archipelago Resources plc and Company Secretary, General Counsel and President - Philippines Operations (2009-2011) for OceanaGold Corporation. Prior to his corporate career, Matthew practised as a senior lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Chambers and Company.  Matthew is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Victoria, Australia.  He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations from Melbourne University and has completed advanced studies at the London School of Economics and INSEAD, France.

John Speck – Mine Manager

John Speck is a seasoned mining professional with over 25 years of experience across commodities including copper, gold, iron ore, and nickel. He has held senior technical and leadership roles with major companies such as BHP, where his planning work at Mt Whaleback increased NPV by $250 million. John has led feasibility studies to JORC standards, managed operations at Leigh Creek Copper Mine, and brings a unique blend of mine planning, financial analysis, and regulatory expertise to every project.

Christopher Kuffel – Non-Executive Director

Christopher brings extensive experience as a supervisory research analyst with Credit Suisse, Citigroup, and JPMorgan in Hong Kong and Singapore, delivering sharp insights into global markets. Actively shaping high-value mining investment strategies, he optimize returns in resource-rich projects. Holds FINRA Series 7, 16, 24 and 4 licenses as a foundation for structuring high-value mining portfolios like LCCM, ensuring strategic precision and investor confidence in dynamic markets.

Richard Offer – Non-Executive Director

Strong background in Corporate Finance over the last 20 years with a focus on resources and industrial materials; previously part of the Executive Committee planning and implementing the Asian product strategies for both HSBC and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in both Hong Kong and Singapore. Richard in a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments United Kingdom (CISI)
