Development Strategy
Cuprum’s development strategy is centred on restarting the Leigh Creek Copper Mine in a disciplined and staged manner, with each phase designed to reduce risk before capital is deployed into the next.
The initial focus is on re-establishing operations at LCCM to validate key operating assumptions, including ore handling, leach performance, infrastructure condition, and regulatory compliance, while minimising upfront capital exposure. Early operational results are used to inform subsequent development decisions rather than committing to scale at inception.
Cuprum intends to transition LCCM into a stable operating platform capable of generating cash flow. Subject to performance and market conditions, this cash flow is expected to support ongoing optimisation of the operation and provide a funding base for incremental growth and exploration activity across the surrounding licence position, reducing reliance on external capital, which reduces equity dilution
